Program: Winter Trails® and Grand Targhee Resort host the Winter Trails Day on Saturday, January 9, 2010. Winter Trails Day, now entering its 15th year, offers children and adults NEW to snow sports the chance to try snowshoeing and cross country skiing for FREE, and to discover the great fitness and social benefits with these easy-to-learn winter sports.

Time: Cross country ski & snowshoe clinics are from 1:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m, but the trails are open all day.  Sign up with the Ski & Snowboard School prior to the start of clinic. 

Rates: FREE cross country ski clinic and snowshoe clinics.  Trail passes are FREE for the whole day whether you participate in a clinic or not.

Rentals: Performance Atomic cross country rental equipment is available in the Grand Targhee Rental shop and snowshoes are available from our Activities Center.  Cross country and snowshoe rentals are FREE for Winter Trails Participants but there is LIMITED AVAILABILITY so advanced reservations will be necessary.  (Skate skiing equipment not included).
